Job description

BCI Rochester is looking for the top 5% of the workforce who value taking pride in their work, enjoy a competitive environment and strive to be the best.  In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in all activities associated with safely running our equipment, including setup, operation and cleanup.
Work Schedule:
  • 3rd Shift:  Mondays - Thursdays; 4:30PM-5:00AM (4 Day Work Week)
Compensation:
  • $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, quarterly bonuses
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times
  • Monitor product quality and ensure that the quality control systems are being utilized properly
  • Ensure that all safety guards are in place and operate properly on the machine
  • Assist in maintaining discipline of assigned operators; make recommendations/report observations to supervisors
  • Drive production and efficiency of assigned machine center
  • Assist in training new associates to safely perform their duties in the most efficient way possible while upholding the highest quality standards
  • Maintain machine to ensure all preventative maintenance has been completed by the scheduled time
  • Recommend changes in methods, equipment, material handling and similar projects for improvements in efficiencies or standards of practice
  • Operate printing presses and/or die cutters to make a variety of corrugated products
  • Ensure that equipment is clean and organized
  • Become knowledgeable of paper properties, setting up a press and managing colors
  • Promote morale and wellness of Crew Members
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Full-time role in a manufacturing plant/warehouse setting
