Background:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various types of production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with production team members, quality assurance technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operations, high-quality output, and adherence to product specifications. Machine Operators follow established procedures to perform tasks accurately and on time, maintain a clean and professional workspace, troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor product quality, and coordinate with quality and material handling teams to support efficient line operations.


Responsibilities:

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload raw materials into production machinery to maintain continuous and efficient operations
  • Inspect finished products at regular intervals to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met
  • Accurately complete required production reports and data entries in a timely manner
  • Start up production lines and verify proper machine setup and functionality
  • Set up, adjust, and calibrate machinery in accordance with production specifications and standard operating procedures
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and readiness for production use
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during operation to minimize downtime
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, and material handling teams to support efficient workflow

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred; training will be provided for qualified selected candidates.
  • High school diploma, GED or applicable work experience; associate degree or relevant technical training a plus.
  • Working knowledge of production machinery and equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Results-driven, dependable, and self-motivated work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to operational and maintenance issues
  • Experience performing quality control checks and completing required production reporting
  • Ability to train or assist other employees as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • The successful candidate must be able to accurately complete documentation; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Radienz Living employees must comply with all required safety protocol, including but not limited to use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as applicable and instructed. This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a clean shaven face at all times.
  • Successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production operations

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting
  • Manual dexterity to operate machinery, tools, and controls
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery
  • Required use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse environment.
  • This role involves regular exposure to dust, laundry detergent odors, and elevated noise levels.
  • Work pace may be fast with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.00-$21.00*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
