SUMMARY:

Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all Electrical and Mechanical Slot Machines under the direction of the Slot Technician Manager. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the floor repair of all Slot Machines, and proper Preventative Maintenance which includes cleaning machines, player tracking equipment, overhauls, etc. in accordance with Gaming Regulations. 
  • Handles the initial set-up and check out new slot machines. 
  • Assist the Slot Technician Manager in the breakdown, relocation, reset up, and new installs of all slot machines and stands to be relocated. 
  • Learn daily routine and demonstrate safe handling and moving of all Slot Machines. 
  • Assists Server Specialists in verifying jackpots and paper fills as needed. 
  • Assists in ensuring machine integrity when jackpots occur and at other times requested.
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction Gaming Laws (Federal, State, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as Company’s internal controls, policies and procedures. 
  • Brings disputes and unusual Guest activities to the attention of the Shift Manager. 
  • Promotes positive Guest Relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. 
  • Responsible for investigating slot machine disputes. 
  • Duties may include keeping a log of all repair work and noting problematic slot machines. 
  • Keep all areas clean & sanitized as directed.
  • Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record. 
  • Other duties as necessary to ensure smooth operations


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Electronics experience and/or Electronics degree preferred.

The noise and smoke levels in work environment are usually moderate to high.

  • Telephone interaction: Moderate interaction with other employees and vendors, minimal with guests.
