What Will You Enjoy Doing

 6:00pm-6:30am

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment, ensure proper setup and
    calibration
  •  Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various industrial
    machinery and equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, CNC machines,
    hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and more
  •  Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, electrical issues, and other problems
    affecting machine performance and downtime
  •  Maintenance of infrastructure equipment and building
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and
    ensure equipment operates efficiently, reducing unplanned downtime
  • Follow BLUE Tag identification repairs in PM activities
  •  Regularly clean machinery and industrial equipment to prevent the build-up of dirt, dust,
    and debris, ensuring optimal functioning.
  •  Perform routine cleaning of machine parts, filters, cooling systems, and lubrication
    points to prevent malfunctions and extend the lifespan of equipment
  •  Use proper cleaning tools, equipment, and cleaning agents, ensuring compliance with
    company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory. Report any issues
    and track service history.
  • Identify risk due to repeat failures and communicate to leadership risks
  • Keep proper inventory of parts with maintenance records by signing out parts used
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, quality and warehouse to
    improve plant performance and machine run time.
  • Support entry level Maintenance technicians.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis activities for plant improvement.
  • Ensure that all equipment stays compliant with safety regulations, including machine
    safety, electrical safety, and automation safety standards (e.g., ISO 10218 for industrial
    robots).
  • Assist in conducting safety audits and risk assessments for automation systems, ensuring
    safe and efficient operation

Performance Metrics:

  • MTTR and MTBF
  •  Added training material based on RCA’s and improvement projects
  • Proper WO creating and documentation
  •  Spare parts inventory usage documentation
  •  First time right Repair
  •  Shift hand off communication protocol

Review of matrices above will be performed Quarterly by MP2, Plant Diagnostics in PowerBI,
MED site Data

What Makes You Great 

  •  2 Year Technical degree or equivalent, ALPLA apprenticeship program completion
  • required Experience:
  • 3 years’ experience as Industrial Maintenance Technician or ALPLA apprenticeship program required

Skills:

  •  Excellent diagnostic skills for identifying and fixing mechanical issues.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and
    electrical systems. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and
    technical manuals
  •  Certification in PLC programming, robotics, or automation systems.
  •  Industry certifications such as Certified Maintenance Technician (PMMI), Certified
    Automation Professional (CAP), or similar
  • Strong PLC and automation troubleshooting skills (automation inputs and
    outputs)
  •  Excellent knowledge of Powered automation and drives/controllers Certifications/Licenses: 10hour Osha Other Requirements: 80% travel.
