Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in any automation tool.
In addition to automation, proficiency with Postman is essential to ensure seamless API testing and validation.
Only GC and citizenship are considered & Must be based in NY/NJ, as the role requires commuting to the office or airport three days a week, depending on needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain advanced test automation scripts for web applications, ensuring coverage for all critical functionalities.
Create reusable components and libraries within the framework to optimize and scale test automation efforts.
Conduct cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Debug and resolve test failures by analyzing logs, screenshots, and video recordings.
Document automation processes, including framework structure, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
Develop and execute API test cases using Postman to validate backend services.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback on application quality after deployments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test automation scripts and frameworks.
Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with project requirements.
Should be able to create Mobile Web and Native app automation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of overall QA experience.
Minimum 4 years of Automation testing experience
Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or equivalent.
Proven experience with Selenium or UFT as the primary tool for end-to-end test automation.
Should have Proficiency in Postman for API testing.
Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar(Good to have).
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good to Have - Playwright experience, MABL Experience, API Automation experience, Airline Domain experience
Good to Have - Postman API collection creation, scripting, and environment management
