Job Summary:
Medical Assistants (MAs) are at the front line of patient care and play an integral role in achieving practice goals such as increased patient satisfaction, improved quality and enhanced team-based care. The MA works within their scope of practice and is assigned tasks that are reasonably predictable, do not require assessment, interpretation, or independent decision-making during its performance. The MA is attentive not only to the needs of their patients but also to the needs of the family accompanying the patient. The MA collaborates with all members of the health care team to provide care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Medical assistant certification strongly preferred or must have medical assistant experience or nursing assistant experience.
Pay Range: $20.25 to $26.32
