Job description

 We are looking for a seasoned machinist with hands-on experience operating Mazak CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Mazak mills and/or lathes to produce complex parts that meet tight tolerances and customer specifications. This position is based at our Anaheim, CA facility, and no driving is required as part of the job duties. 
 Key Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC machines (MTV, FJV, SVC, QTN, Integrex, Variaxis or similar). • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to ensure accurate production. • Program machines using Mazatrol or G-code as needed. • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Comparator, etc.). • Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for improved performance. • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area 
 Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a machinist, with at least 3 years specifically on Mazak CNC equipment. • Proficiency in Mazatrol programming; familiarity with EIA/ISO programming is a plus. • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, titanium, plastics), cutting tools and holders, terms such as SFM, IPR, DOC, APEX, MRR ect. • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with multi-axis machining (3-, 4-, or 5-axis) preferred.
