We're looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to build and maintain the subsystems behind our test and simulation technology, working hands on with hydraulics, mechanics, and precision tooling in a role that offers real room to grow.

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints, specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing process documentation

  • Meet standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule

  • Interpret engineering documents to determine results and processes

  • Use hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems, including disassembly and problem diagnosis

  • Develop solutions and resolve performance issues

  • Collaborate to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policies

  • Initiate modifications and improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentation

  • Accurately execute the non-conforming materials process

  • Participate in process and quality improvement activities

  • Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with coworkers, engineers, supervisors, and customers

  • Actively develop skills assembling and testing MTS products and industry technology, and participate in required training

What You Bring:
  • Two-year certification from a college or trade school, or military training, in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, electronics), or 4+ years of applicable experience in a related environment
