What are lyrics?

Lyrics are the words or text of a song, typically written to be sung by a vocalist. They convey the song's message, emotion, and story, often reflecting the songwriter's intent or theme. Lyrics can range from simple and repetitive to complex and poetic, and they play a crucial role in connecting listeners to the music. These competencies ensure the creation of engaging lyrics that resonate with audiences and fit seamlessly within musical compositions.
