These roles are often found in hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities, and may involve tasks such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities. Shifts are typically 8 to 12 hours long, often covering both Saturday and Sunday, and may include evening or overnight hours depending on the facility. Teamwork is essential, as you'll collaborate closely with other nurses, CNAs, and healthcare staff to ensure continuous, quality care despite weekend staffing variations.
