Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
PRN Full-Time Positions Available
TK Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our healthcare team at the Comal County Jail in New Braunfels, Texas.
As an LVN, you will provide nursing care based on individualized patient needs while working under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse. You'll play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting care in accordance with established nursing standards and TK Health policies.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the LVN scope of practice
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Assess, observe, and document patient conditions
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
  • Follow infection control, safety, and correctional healthcare protocols
Qualifications
  • Current Texas LVN license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Correctional healthcare experience is welcomed but not required
