Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Bradley County Jail
Location: Cleveland, TN | Employer: TK Health
NOW OFFERING A $3,500 SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified hires who join our mental-health team.
Position Overview
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with TK Health, you will assess, stabilize, and coordinate care for adults in a secure correctional setting while developing individualized release plans that ensure continuity of treatment back in the community.
Required Credentials
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
Active Tennessee license: LPC, LMSW, LADC, or LMFT
Key Responsibilities
Provide crisis assessments and psychiatric-emergency intervention
Conduct suicide-risk and substance-use evaluations; deliver MAT counseling
Create and implement Individualized Treatment Plans and refer for medication management
Coordinate with security, medical, and community agencies to meet inmates’ special-needs and discharge goals
Maintain clinical documentation and compliance in accordance with state standards
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours mental-health coverage
Deliver mental-health training for jail staff and perform additional duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
$3,500 sign-on bonus (paid in two installments)

Qualifications
Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or related field —or equivalent experience
Active Tennessee license: LPC, LCSW, LADC, LMFT, MHC, or LMSW
Able to commute to Cleveland, TN (37311) and work full-time on site
