Nursing Faculty Positions
Job Description:
The Department of Nursing is seeking full time and part-time nursing instructors for its ADN RN and LVNย Programs.

These positions include teaching (didactic and clinical courses). We are seeking faculty in the
following areas Medical-Surgical, Maternity, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community/Public
Health and Gerontology.

Minimum requirements:
LVN Clinical-an LVN with AA or AS degree + 6 yearsโ€™ experience required or a BA or BS with
2 yearsโ€™ experience required (any type of degree).

LVN Didactic- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience for Registered Nurses with a bachelorโ€™s
degree or minimum of 1-year teaching experience in an approved college of nursing within the
past 5 years or Minimum of 6 years nursing experience for Registered Nurses with an associateโ€™s
degree or; or minimum of 1-year teaching experience in an approved college of nursing within
the past 5 years.

RN Clinical-Bachelor of Science in Nursing with one with direct patient experience in the
previous five (5) years and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience in the
designated clinical area. Must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.

RN Didactic-Master of Science Degree in Nursing with direct patient experience in the previous
five (5) years and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience in the designated
clinical area. Must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.
Additional requirements:
