Job description

Job Summary:
Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Mission Coordinator – LVC Integration Lead. The Integration Lead works onsite Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia supporting Navy Surface Warfare Center – Corona (NSWC Corona) in providing Marine Corps LVC training, assisting with planning, design, and execution of training events.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as NSWC-Corona’s LVC technical and operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of LVC training events.
• Communicate with leadership on any technical or operational issues and new requirements.
• Assist in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with goals of the training program.
• Oversee implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring they meet technical standards and training requirements.
• Work with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) local and remote operators and engineers, and external Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) teams to coordinate and plan systems and personnel support for events.
• Adjust daily working hours occasionally to match times zones around the world where events are occurring.
• Occasional travel is required in support of event planning conferences.
• Use Confluence and JIRA collaborating tools to share event schedules, documents, and after-action reports.
• Identify, document, report, and track issues, while keeping appropriate technical personnel, NSWC- Corona, BSC leadership, and other stakeholders informed of status.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or
• 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field or
• 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Construct of Operational and Tactical Levels of Warfare events to include live virtual constructive
• Well-developed personal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools
• Must have DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain and ability to upgrade to TS if required.
Preferred:
• Prior military service leadership level highly desired
• Tactical Training Range operations and management
• Knowledge of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems and operations
• Knowledge of Marine Constructive Suite, Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) simulation or other HLA/DIS modeling tools
• USMC combat and training systems or Aviation combat and training systems
