Full-time 40 hrs/wk | Wed-Sun, 10:45AM-7:15PM | $30.00-$32.00/hr

San Francisco, CA 94103 | CA Guard Card required

About This Role

We're hiring an experienced Security Supervisor to lead our team at one of San Francisco's premier luxury retail flagships. This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be responsible for the daily performance, conduct, and development of the security team while maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Team leadership and team monitoring are at the heart of this position. You'll set the tone for how the team operates, keep a close eye on performance and post coverage, and step in wherever you're needed. We're looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in a security supervisor role, ideally in a retail or luxury environment.

If you're the kind of leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of the environment around you - we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and monitor the daily performance of the security team - ensuring posts are covered, standards are upheld, and the team is operating at its best
  • Serve as the senior on-site authority during your shift, making real-time decisions on incidents and escalations
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and floor checks to monitor team positioning, guest flow, and potential security concerns
  • Manage crowd control during peak hours, product launches, and special events - keeping guests and staff safe
  • Oversee access control, delivery logging, and high-value merchandise tracking with accuracy and accountability
  • Partner with store leadership on scheduling, incident reporting, and operational planning
  • Onboard and mentor new officers, setting clear expectations and modeling professional conduct
  • Represent the store's standard of excellence in every interaction - your team follows your lead
What We're Looking For
  • Valid California Guard Card (BSIS-issued) - required before your first day
  • 5+ years of experience in a security supervisor or lead role - required
  • Background in retail security, luxury retail, hospitality, or a related high-end environment - strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and monitor a team in a fast-paced, client-facing setting
  • Strong de-escalation and crowd control skills - you stay composed when the floor gets busy
  • Excellent communication skills, both with your team and with store leadership
  • Sound judgment, sharp situational awareness, and the ability to make confident decisions under pressure
  • Reliable transportation and a consistent track record of punctuality
