Fields Auto Group is a premier, family-owned and operated automotive group. We are seeking a positive, dynamic leader to provide an unmatched luxury experience for both our internal team and external customers. Our mission is simple: provide the best customer experience and create lifelong relationships.

Our culture is driven by the Fields Five: Safety, Integrity, Courtesy, Presentation, and Efficiency. We believe in transparency, collaborative environments, and promoting from within.

The Opportunity

As our General Manager, you will oversee operations for our elite luxury portfolios:

  • Fields Motorcars North Shore (Gold Coast): Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Bugatti.
  • Fields Motorcars Downers Grove: Lamborghini and Bentley.

You will be fully accountable for customer retention and dealership profitability, with a primary focus on the variable side—including new/used vehicle sales, finance, and internet sales operations.

Position Type: Full-Time (Seeking either two dedicated General Managers or one overarching General Manager to lead both high-profile locations)

What We Offer
  • Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Income Protection: Short-Term & Long-Term Disability; Company-Paid Basic Life Insurance.
  • Retirement Planning: 401(k) Plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Personal Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • Perks & Extras: Employee vehicle purchase plans or company demo, discounts on products/services, and catered Saturday Lunches.
  • PAY: 300k - 500k yearly
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Plan, implement, and assess successful operations across all dealership departments to optimize performance and profitability.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, mentor, and discipline department managers and dealership staff while conducting weekly manager meetings.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores at or above company and manufacturer standards.
  • Inventory & Financials: Oversee vehicle pricing, inventory strategy, and balance sheet management.
  • External Relations: Cultivate strong working relationships with luxury manufacturers, lending institutions, and the local community.
  • Compliance: Reinforce company policies, uphold the Fields Five standards, and ensure strict compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a General Manager (GM) or General Sales Manager (GSM) at a luxury, high-volume automotive dealership is required.
  • Track Record: Documented history of achieving strong profitability and consistent, positive Customer Satisfaction results.
  • Leadership Style: Team-oriented, collaborative, and communicative mentor who thrives on employee relations.
