Job description

Overview
Lutron is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Human Resources Manager out of our engineering office in Boston, MA. In this role, you will apply your ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure to support employees in both our Boston and Philadelphia engineering offices. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our organization through effective HR programs and initiatives. You will partner with both Engineering and Human Resources leadership to execute HR programs and put plans in place that will support both our current and future employee needs.
Responsibilities
  • Partner and work with Lutron Coopersburg Engineering leadership team to anticipate the needs of the organization and execute HR programs.
  • Provide expert HR guidance and organizational insight to Lutron's Engineering leadership.
  • Partner with Engineering leaders to improve organization design
  • Champion Lutron principles and culture
  • Develop HR solutions, programs and policies to support the Lutron organization. Partner with Lutron Human Resources COEs on corporate wide programs.
  • Identify training needs and partner with the Lutron learning organization to successfully execute programs. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Administer Salary Reviews, Performance Reviews, Promotion processes, Year End Evaluations, Employee Relations and Accommodation requests
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to Lutron leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Partner with Lutron leaders and Centers Of Excellences such as Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to fulfill engineering business needs
  • Use knowledge, judgment and expertise to manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensuring regulatory, policy and procedural compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.

Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of Human Resource experience required.
  • Experience in Employee Relations and People Development required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field
    required. (MBA a plus).
  • Prior experience managing a Talent Development function is plus.
  • Experience working effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent judgment in complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Very active "over" communicator to all stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily to Lutron Pennsylvania facilities

Starting pay: $130,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year plus bonus and profit sharing. Lutron's employee benefits include 401k match, health, dental, life insurance, paid vacation (amount based on tenure with the company), flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement programs.
