Reason for Coverage: Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage

Practice Setting: Office/ Hospital/ OR/ Rounding

Call Schedule: After office hours and weekends

Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery

Required Duties/Procedures

  • Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG, Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Thoracic Endoscopy Procedures Required: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction, Mediastinal Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery Procedures Required: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve® System), Mitral Valve Repair
