Our organization is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a full-time, Fellowship Trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgery physician to become a part of our dedicated team at a leading medical center. This position offers a chance to join a dynamic and expanding multispecialty group practice situated in Fresno, California.
We are in search of a collaborative and seasoned Cardiothoracic Surgeon who is passionate about both cardiac and general thoracic surgery. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in CABG, valve replacement/repair, and thoracic surgery, along with proficiency in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS). A minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery is essential.
The typical work schedule consists mainly of weekdays, with call coverage approximately every 1 in 3 weeks, shared fairly among eligible cardiothoracic surgeons within the practice.
The primary workplace will be at our medical center in Fresno, California, with expectations for outreach to surrounding communities to foster relationships.
This physician-led multispecialty group is looking to add a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to enhance our integrated CT Surgery team and program. Our program actively engages in the STS Registry and rigorously benchmarks performance as part of a comprehensive quality and outcomes improvement initiative. Notable achievements include a high early extubation rate, a low transfusion rate, and numerous regional and national awards in cardiac surgery.
Prospective candidates must hold a valid Physician License in the State of California or be able to secure one before their start date. Additionally, they must be eligible for full credentialing as a member of the medical staff.
