Lunch Monitor:
 
General Description: This position reports to the elementary school principal. The responsibilities of a school lunch monitor include monitoring students and their behavior during meals in the lunchroom and referring problems to the principal or designated teacher. You ensure each meal service flows smoothly while communicating with staff and students professionally and positively.
 
Spiritual Duties and Responsibilities:
● Models a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in speech, actions, attitudes
● Actively involved in church
● Follows Matthew 18 principle in dealing with interpersonal conflict
● Encourages students to accept God’s gift of salvation and grow in their faith
 
General Duties and Responsibilities:
● Lunch Hours (approximately 10:00 - 12:30)
● Monitor and assist students in the cafeteria
● Communicate with teachers about any problems
● Manage the transition of classes and grades during lunch hours
