Job description

  • Operates a specially equipped minibus, van or similar vehicle to transport customers, including those with physical or mental disabilities to and from scheduled appointments by following a prescribed route and schedule.
  • Performs safety inspections on vehicles before operating to detect and report any mechanical malfunctions or safety issues that would prevent the safe transportation of passengers.
  • Maneuvers wheelchairs, operates wheel chair lifts, and secures wheelchairs.
  • Operates two-way radios and maintains communications to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Records daily information on passengers, trips, mileage, pick-up and drop off paper manifest.
  • Must wear company uniform daily, no exceptions.
  • Must clock in/ out daily.
  • Must be responsible for taking required lunch break.

Requirements:
Must be 23 years or older
Must have valid Driver License
Minimum driving record of three years
No felonies/no misdemeanors
Must speak and read English
You are required to pass
Drug/Alcohol testing
DOT Physical required
Paid trainings
Upgrade license conversions after 90 days
