Job description

UR Services specializes in pre-scheduled drop off catering delivery to business clients.

Our peak busy time is weekday breakfast 6-9am and lunch 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday to Friday. Orders we deliver are larger than what you'd typically see delivering on-demand orders.

  • You choose when to work and what orders you deliver, at least a day in advance.
  • Pay averages about $22.50-$30 per order minimum. Average is $30+ going upwards of $100/order with dynamic pay bumps on larger orders
  • Average at least 1-2 orders during lunch time.
  • Order sources include Olo, ezCater and Cater UR Way(Austin).

We occasionally offer time blocks in advance where you're guaranteed the offered pay for the block upon acceptance.

Our culture of excellence sets us apart and the people we deliver to recognize this. We only contract with drivers who use insulated thermal delivery bags, utilize pushcarts and handle themselves professionally.

This is a 1099 position. Ideal for candidates that have worked in restaurants and/or have previous catering delivery experience with other catering/food delivery apps.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're applying OUTSIDE OF Austin, indicate where you want to handle deliveries that's asked in the questionnaire during the application process. Use the Austin job posting link to apply.

Requirements:

  • Speak, read and write English
  • MVR and background check
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Auto Insurance
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Smartphone
  • Legally able to work in the US without sponsorship
  • 2 catering sized insulated bags and a push cart (cart can be acquired afterwards, we provide links/examples of bags to purchase)

Benefits:

  • Ultimate flexibility to balance work/life responsibilities
  • Paid weekly through direct deposit
  • Live support
  • Great supplemental pay for occasional work during the day

We started as drivers that worked for all the other platforms until we realized we could do so much more by bringing our standards of excellence and making it a service others can enjoy and rely on.
