Job description

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Seasonal Lumper to assist during busy periods. This position is occasional/seasonal and requires someone who can work as needed, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Lumper is responsible for unloading and loading trucks, sorting and stacking products, and ensuring all shipments are handled safely and accurately. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Move, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse areas.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
  • Operate pallet jacks or hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control and report damaged goods immediately.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (30+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or loading dock environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
  • Availability to work seasonally/occasionally during busy periods.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if needed.
