Who We Are:
Our story began in 1966 when Drs. Robert Taylor, Harris Knudson, and James Lum joined together to form Taylor, Knudson & Lum, a radiology and radiation oncology practice. The practice expanded in 1969 with the additions of Dr. Francis Esposito, followed by Drs. Richard Ellis and Paul Bandt in 1971. In 1977, the practice was renamed Desert Radiologists. In 1987, the practice relocated to the 2020 Palomino Lane building and still operates as an imaging center today. The practice name was officially changed to Desert Radiology in 2017. In June 2019, Desert Radiology (DR) and Radiology Partners (RP) announced their partnership.
Desert Radiology is proud to be the official imaging partner of the Las Vegas Aces and radiology provider for numerous sports teams, including the Vegas Golden Knights and Las Vegas Raiders. Position Summary:
  • Responsible for overseeing the specific modality and modality personnel during the physical absence of the Modality Manager.
  • Supporting their Modality Manager by taking on Administrative duties as requested and by being a resource to their co-workers.
  • This position has high patient and company visibility and is accountable for representing the company in a pleasant, professional manner at all times

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Reports include the Modality Manager-overseeing the modality as concerns and issues arise. Attends meeting when requested to discuss and evaluate best practices and keep management apprised of significant personnel and operational issues.
  • Oversees modality and personnel operations, evaluating work flow needs and patient scheduling concerns. Evaluates workflow and performance to maximize productivity. Acts as positive role model. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with all Clinical Managers, staff, physicians, patients, and referring offices. Acts as point person for radiologist needs.
  • Assists with interviewing new staff for the modality. Makes personnel and staffing recommendations to management. Counsels current staff on quality standards and meeting company objectives and goals. Trains and orients new hires and keeps existing staff current on policies, procedures and changes. Makes recommendations to the Modality Manager for disciplinary measures and performance management of staff.
  • Evaluates customer complaints, follows up to resolve the issue and responds to them as necessary.
  • Ensures that equipment is in working order. Places and tracks service calls. Maintains the physical space of the office and request maintenance services when needed.

COMPENSATION:
The hourly range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
