Objectives of the Role:

- Deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests,

communicating clearly, and maintaining a positive attitude.

- Provide exemplary cosmetic care for pets, remaining gentle and patient with anxious or difficult animals.

- Protect the best interests of customers and their pets by notifying owners of any

concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleas.

- Help the organization grow by building strong relationships with customers to

encourage repeat business.



Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality grooming services tailored to individual pet needs.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners to understand grooming

preferences.

- Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices.

- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all tools and equipment before and after each

session, maintaining the highest sanitation standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Demonstrated passion for animals.

- Previous pet grooming experience. Prior mobile pet grooming experience is a plus.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Comfortable driving and operating a mobile grooming van.

- Ability to work calmly with anxious or difficult animals.

- Ability to stand for at least two hours and lift animals weighing over 50 pounds.

- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.

- Strong verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in customer service or working with animals in a professional or

volunteer capacity.

- Professional certification (such as from the National Dog Groomers Association of

America).
