We Run Together.Job Description Summary:This role is built for someone with strong analytical horsepower and high curiosity.You may come from engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a quantitative field. What matters is your ability to break down complex problems, work with data at a deep level, and apply mathematical reasoning to real business decisions.You will support both day-to-day pricing execution and, over time, contribute to more strategic initiatives: identifying patterns, solving problems, and helping shape pricing decisions across the business.You will work in a fast-paced environment with real deadlines and high expectations. There is no micromanagement here. Output and ownership matter.Critical Job Functions:Execute pricing work with speed and accuracyAnalyze customer and market data to develop pricing recommendationsSupport bids for direct customers and 3PLs, balancing yield and network capacityBuild and maintain pricing models using Excel and internal systemsManage daily workflow independentlyProcess incoming pricing requests from Sales through internal systemsEnsure accuracy, speed, and consistency across deliverablesManage multiple priorities and deadlines without constant oversightSolve problems and identify gapsRecognize data inconsistencies, investigate and identify root causesApply logical and statistical reasoning to support pricing decisionsPropose solutions and recommendationsSupport pricing decisionsSupport pricing initiatives and projects that impact margin and growthIdentify trends in customer behavior, pricing performance, and market shiftsHelp improve tools, processes, and pricing logicCollaborate cross-functionallyPartner with Sales, Operations, and leadership to align pricing decisionsParticipate in customer discussions when needed, supporting pricing insightsJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related fieldStrong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or quantitative analysis3+ years of experience in analytics, engineering, or data-focused rolesAbility to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and build logical modelsExperience applying quantitative reasoning to real-world problemsStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas required)Exposure to SQL (ability to write queries preferred)Familiarity with Microsoft Access or similar tools is a plusExposure to Python, R, or other programming languages is a plusExposure to AI, machine learning, or data experimentation is a strong plus.More important than tools:Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinkingHigh curiosity and willingness to learn quicklyAbility to work independently and manage deadlinesClear communication: can explain the “why” behind the numbersWork ethic: you take ownership and follow throughCore CompetenciesAnalytical thinkingProblem solving and pattern recognitionOwnership and accountabilityLearning agilityData interpretation and storytellingAttention to detailCross-functional collaborationThis role requires strong quantitative thinking.
