Data Analyst - Traffic Flow Management (Finance) Job Description LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Traffic Flow Management Enhancement Program (TFMEP) Data Analyst is responsible for NAS performance analysis and TFMEP metrics in support of the TFMEP Center's strategic deconfliction activities. This role records operational data, conducts post-event analysis, and responds to pre-operational and post-operational data requests to support real-time and continuous TFMEP operations. Salary Range - $120,000 - $130,000 - Based on relevant years of experience Responsibilities Analyze NAS performance and TFMEP metrics to support operational decision-making. Record data that supports real-time NAS implementation of TFMEP output. Conduct post-event analysis to assess the effectiveness of the strategic deconfliction plan versus actual system performance. Respond to pre-operational and post-operational data requests as needed. Support the development of repeatable and executable processes through data analysis. Document findings and summarize trends that may improve TFMEP operations. Collaborate with TFMEP operational staff, FAA management, and stakeholders as needed. Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying operational insights from data. Education Bachelor of Arts/Science degree with 10+ years of experience is required. Qualifications Experience in data analysis, operational reporting, or performance metrics. Strong ability to collect, validate, and interpret operational data. Experience conducting post-event analysis and identifying trends or performance gaps. Familiarity with strategic deconfliction, traffic flow management, or NAS operations is highly desirable. Ability to respond quickly to ad hoc data requests in a time-sensitive environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination. Proficiency with data tools, spreadsheets, and analytical software. Ability to work collaboratively in a 24/7 operational support environment. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis. Work Requirements: Work location: FAA Headquarters and/or the DOT TFMEP Control Center (SCC). Work Hours: Onsite 5 days per week. 24/7 Operations support may be required. Typical shift windows include: Morning: 0600-1400 or 0700-1500 Evening: 1400-2200 or 1500-2300 Overnight: 2200-0600 Overnight coverage may be adjusted based on program needs. Travel: 0% Physical requirements: Work is performed in an operations room/control center environment. Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal. Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds may be required during installations or maintenance. Mobility: Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms. Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision. Sitting/Standing: Both prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be required for troubleshooting and attending to system issues.
