Journeyman Ironworker

Join our team at LPR Construction in Haskell, TX and be a part of a structural steel erector building commercial job across the United States. As a Journeyman Ironworker, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and be a part of a dynamic team that values quality craftsmanship and safety.

Job Info:

  • Working 6 10's
  • Duration 5 Months
  • Offering $700 weekly per-diem plus Travel pay in and out to the next job
  • Must Pass Background Check!

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Install structural steel framework according to blueprints
  • Perform iron work including torch cutting, fabricating, and installation
  • Erect and ensure fall protection measures are in place
  • Operate heavy equipment and cranes for lifting and rigging
  • Install cables and perform cable pulling as needed

Required Skills:

  • Experience in commercial construction
  • Knowledge of reinforced structural steel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and operating heavy equipment
  • NCCER certification and OSHA 10 training perferred.
