About the Role:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Staff Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for our staff, with a focus on enhancing their skills and knowledge to provide top-notch patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and evaluate program effectiveness. Your passion for nursing education and commitment to excellence will enable you to make a meaningful impact on our staff and, in turn, our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement educational programs for staff, including classroom instruction, online training, and on-the-job training

  • Identify training needs and develop curriculum to address gaps in knowledge and skills

  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify and address areas for staff development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with national and local nursing organizations to stay current with best practices and industry trends

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

  • Other duties as assigned by the department manager

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Experience in staff development, education, or training preferred

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Passion for nursing education and commitment to excellence
