This means your duties include providing pre-operative care and education to patients, assisting during actual procedures, and providing care and post-operative instructions to recovering patients. In addition to assisting with procedures and maintaining accurate records, you may stock and sterilize equipment, manage appointments, and interface with insurance companies for billing purposes.

An LPN in plastic surgery is a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in assisting with cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. They provide pre- and post-operative care, monitor patient recovery, assist with minor in-office procedures, and educate patients on post-surgical care. They work closely with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires knowledge of wound care, medication administration, and patient support in a surgical setting.

What are the typical daily responsibilities for an LPN working in a plastic surgery clinic?
