Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our existing Titan Talent as a Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) at GMS/GIS
 




Starting wage beginning at $21.60 an hour, commensurate with experience

WHAT DO SCHOOL LPNs DO?
 

  • Float between assigned buildings to assist School Nurse (RN) with students and/or staff
  • Provide first aid care to students and staff as assigned
  • Administer testing and medication to staff and/or students
  • Assist School Nurse (RN) in maintaining health records


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diplomas or equivalent education is required
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of IL
  • Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal and DCFS background check.
  • Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatments, especially as it relates to children and adolescents
  • Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
  • Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health service
