• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to address the unique needs of each client, using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the right treatment pathways, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients in individual, group, family, and couple settings.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting them to meet client needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for each client.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to remain informed about the current best practices in mental health care.

The LPCC will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clinic is dedicated to serving the local community in Clay, New York, focusing on accessibility and trust while emphasizing culturally competent care. Your work will directly contribute to improving the mental health outcomes of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals with trauma, substance misuse issues, and relational difficulties.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health practices.
• A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards related to counseling and mental health.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse client population.

While not mandatory, specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse is highly preferred. Candidates with these qualifications will be looked upon favorably, as they align seamlessly with the diverse needs of our client population.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
