Georgia LPC Telehealth Counselor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor for a full-time remote therapy position supporting clients through virtual mental health care. The role centers on providing structured counseling sessions, helping clients identify patterns, build coping skills, process difficult experiences, and make practical progress toward their treatment goals.

This is a client-facing counseling role for an LPC who can balance warmth, clinical judgment, and reliable documentation in a remote setting. You will work with clients through scheduled video sessions while maintaining clear records and consistent follow-through.

Location: Georgia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote therapy sessions for clients located in Georgia
  • Complete clinical intakes, screenings, progress notes, and treatment plan updates
  • Help clients work through concerns related to mood, stress, anxiety, relationships, adjustment, and personal challenges
  • Use appropriate counseling methods based on client presentation and scope of practice
  • Track treatment goals and document client progress after each session
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding care expectations, attendance, and treatment goals
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and professional ethics standards
  • Identify clients who may need higher levels of care or additional support services
  • Keep clinical records current and aligned with company policies

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor LPC license in Georgia
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, individuals, or diverse client populations
  • Comfortable delivering counseling services through telehealth platforms
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
  • Must have a private workspace, reliable internet connection, and basic technology skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant systems and electronic health records preferred
