• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations for new clients, determining the most effective treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, adjusting strategies to align with clients’ personal growth trajectories and challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals— including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers— to create holistic care approaches and ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and internal policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training to stay abreast of new research and advancements in mental health interventions.

Your primary focus will include a diverse range of clients, encompassing various age groups and mental health challenges. You will facilitate therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns, thereby contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and overall mental well-being.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, holding an active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapy practices and patient engagement.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations essential for counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
