Outpatient Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)

Compensation: $100-200/hour

Location: This is an on-site role based out of Livingston, NJ

Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Part-Time (12 hours per week)

The Outpatient Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families while maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time in collaboration with a supportive clinical team. As Mindsoother continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member who shares our commitment to creating and maintaining a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming environment for both clients and staff. Our services are delivered in a highly ethical, confidential, and professional manner that promotes emotional and relational well-being while honoring each individual's spiritual beliefs and cultural practices.  This opportunity requires experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.  Preferred applicants will have strong community ties/connections and/or have an established transferable private practice caseload of 6+ clients.  

Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate individual and group sessions, teaching and utilizing DBT principles
  • Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
  • Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
  • Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
  • Maintain an active caseload of approximately 12 hours per week
  • Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
  • Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $100-200 per hour; paid bi-weekly
  • 20-hour Paid Training in DBT-Informed Therapy
  • Billing, scheduling, and intake support
  • Flexible scheduling and telehealth options

Requirements

Outpatient Therapist Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in New Jersey, or
  • Active, provisional license: LSW, LAMFT, and LAC in New Jersey
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
  • Training or experience in DBT is a plus
  • Ability to provide therapy independently
  • Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
  • Experience conducting psychotherapy with children and adolescents
  • Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
  •  Preferred candidates will be an established private practice therapist with a transferable caseload and/or strong community ties/ connections
