This is a fully remote role, allowing our counselors the flexibility to work from home while still engaging in meaningful interactions with clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, healthcare providers, family members, and support networks to monitor client progress and adapt treatment approaches as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate regular appointments, home visits, and therapeutic observations to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss client cases and collaborate on the best methods for treatment implementation.
• Provide continuous follow-up through interviews and home visits to reinforce the support system for clients, ensuring they receive the necessary help and resources.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation through monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring all client records are kept up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
• Actively engage with the mental health community to advocate for client interests and support organizational goals.
• Organize training sessions to empower teammates in implementing program plans effectively, ensuring all staff members are knowledgeable in their roles.

As an LPC at Congruent Health Center, you will serve a diverse population encompassing both adults and youth, each with unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. This position allows for a variety of therapeutic engagements, including family therapy, couples therapy, and support for those with substance misuse or trauma-related issues. Your expertise will help clients navigate their mental health journeys towards recovery and fulfillment.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical considerations in the mental health field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software and commitment to learning new technologies as required.

• Experience working in community health settings or with underrepresented populations is a plus.
• Clinical certifications related to specialized therapies (e.g., trauma, addiction counseling, etc.) are highly valued.
• Previous involvement in training and mentoring junior staff or peers is encouraged.

• Competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibilities.
