Role Summary

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be overseeing associates by providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to associate mental health professionals working toward independent licensure. You will ensure ethical and competent clinical practice by offering case consultation, skill development, and professional support. Additionally, you will help associates navigate challenges, maintain compliance with licensing requirements, and uphold best practices in client care.


Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities, in conjunction with Silver Lake Psychology Leadership:ย 

  • Provide supervision and oversight to one or more associate mental health professionals to ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based therapy services.
  • Mentor, train, and support associate mental health professionals, assisting in their professional growth, skill development, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Provide guidance and consultation on client treatment plans and intervention strategies.
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of therapy services, conducting regular evaluation and providing ongoing feedback for competency development.
  • Guide performance management interventions when relevant.
  • Follow company policies, professional conduct standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Timely completion of documentation and associated tasks to support billing and administration.
  • Exceptional clinical and boundary-setting skills along with expertise in therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Internal applicants: maintain therapy current caseload
  • Other duties as assigned.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) LMFT, LPC, LCSW - W2: $60 per clinical supervision hour
  • $20.25 per admin hour (must be in line with Silver Lake Psychology Guidelines or pre-approved by leadership team)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 4%

Requirements

Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in California
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
  • Ability to provide therapy independently
  • Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
  • Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.)
  • Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
