• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to chart their mental health status and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate family sessions and meetings to update caregivers on client progress, using clear and empathetic communication.
• Document and track care progress through electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring that data is accurately captured and accessible to team members.
• Coordinate and manage home visits as necessary for observational assessments or therapy sessions to better understand client home environments.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights from sessions and collaborating on holistic care approaches.
• Create, deliver, and lead training sessions for team members on best practices in documentation and patient interaction.
• Regularly submit monthly and quarterly progress reports to ensure continuous monitoring and adjustment of treatment plans as needed.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, providing supportive resources to help clients achieve both developmental and therapeutic goals.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, navigating various challenges such as family dynamics, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role is crucial in fostering a supportive environment where clients can openly express their concerns and work collaboratively towards their mental health goals.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role, demonstrating competency in conducting therapy sessions.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.
• Proven ability to foster trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Diligent organizational skills, particularly in maintaining accurate records and follow-up communications.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and telehealth technologies for documenting and facilitating client care.

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Previous work in a telehealth capacity is a plus, ensuring you are familiar with remote communication dynamics and tools.

• Annual salary ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload volume.
