• The position is associated with our outpatient office, where counselors work collaboratively to share insights and resources, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of our therapeutic offerings.

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify the specific treatment needs of clients, forming a foundation for effective intervention strategies.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting approaches to meet the unique circumstances of each client.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to effectively address client issues.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic and integrated care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards while supporting ongoing treatment planning.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the mental health field, participating in professional development workshops and relevant training opportunities.

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with trauma, substance abuse, family dynamics, and other mental health issues. Each client presents unique challenges, allowing for a tailored approach that respects their personal experiences and cultural backgrounds.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential within the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal mandates pertaining to counseling practice necessary for successful client care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling the building of rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from various socio-cultural backgrounds.

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software is beneficial.

• Specialization in fields such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is greatly valued.

• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework to enhance client outcomes and foster a supportive workplace culture.

• The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, reflective of your caseload and contributions to the organization.
