Job description

The person in this positionย is responsible forย servicing assigned Lowe's stores by fulfilling the requirements of the companyโ€™s Stocking Program with Lowe's, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store.ย This positionย merchandises/stocks lumber and millwork at Lowe's stores in Weymouth, MA

Schedule:ย Part-Time Opportunity on Thursday/Friday
Pay: $20/hour

Weโ€™reย hiring forย a part-time role with a consistent biweekly schedule.ย Youโ€™llย average 10 hours/week at our Weymouth location. This position is ideal for someoneย seekingย flexible, predictable hours while still making a meaningful contribution.ย ย 

Essential Responsibilitiesย 

  • Ensure your safety while working inย Loweโ€™sย store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowe's personnel or Lowe's customersย 

  • Be courteous and professional to the customerย 

  • Communicate effectively with Lowe's store personnelย 

  • Contactย Loweโ€™sย receiving department of the store youย are responsible forย to confirm the availability of products to be stockedย 

  • Stock Novo products included in the Stocking Program withinย 36 hoursย of when they are delivered (after the materials have been received in the Lowe's system) unless other arrangements are made with authorized Loweโ€™s representativesย 

  • Retrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriatelyย 

  • Ensure all Novo products that are stocked look neat/tidy:ย ย 

  • Straighten and push backย moulding,ย 

  • Return ALL products to their proper location.ย 

  • Stockย mouldingย in the proper bin locations.ย 

  • Perform culls and ensure Loweโ€™s has correctly received credit for damaged pieces found during the stocking process.ย 

  • Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.ย 

  • Clean up and properly dispose of all bundle ties and other packing materials.ย 

  • Return or arrange for the return of all carts and/or cattle racks to their proper location.ย 

  • Participate inย special eventsย for customers (i.e., Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), asย requested.ย 

  • Assistย with store set/reset activity, as needed.ย 

  • Other duties as assigned.ย 

Basic Qualifications (Required)ย 

  • High school diploma or GEDย 
  • A valid unrestricted driverโ€™s license (Other than vision)ย 
  • Automobile Insurance coverage (you will need to provide proof)ย 
  • Good organizational and time management skillsย 
  • Basic math skillsย 
  • Self-motivatedย 
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Prior experience stocking customer stores.ย 

Travel Requirementsย 

  • Travel to assigned Lowe's store(s) in a local geographic region.

Physical Requirements

  • The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.ย 
    • Standing, walking,ย bendingย or twistingย 
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.ย 
    • Lifting 100 lbs. with the use of equipment orย assistanceย 
    • Pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.ย
