What You'll Do:

  • Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections of all trucks and trailers
  • Lowboy driving experience hauling heavy construction equipment, loading, securing, unloading, & transporting equipment/materials in safe + efficient manner to various job sites
  • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
  • Maintain accurate driver logs per DOT regulations and complete all required Kerr Contractors documentation
  • Follow all safety and site-specific requirements
  • Active movement throughout work shift
  • Balance and maneuver on various surfaces
  • Climb safely in and out of truck cab
  • Frequent bending and reaching during load securement

What You'll Need

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Basic construction equipment knowledge
  • Prefer 1-2 years Flatbed/Lowboy/Tractor Trailer experience
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements a plus (not required)
  • Background check (candidates with prior records welcome)
  • Drug screening
  • Clean driving record
