Job description

SUMMARY
Outdoor Lighting Perspectives® (OLP) has specialized in transforming outdoor spaces with low-voltage architectural and landscape lighting for over 20 years. We work one-on-one with our clients to create lighting displays that perfectly fit their needs, preferences, and budgets. From breathtaking backyard installations, to accent lighting that enhances the architectural beauty of commercial businesses or HOAs, to special events or festive holiday displays, we'll make sure that after the sun goes down, each property shines.
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Landscape Lighting Installer will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems for residential, commercial and/or hospitality clients. In addition to being the hands-on person responsible for bringing the lighting designs to life, the ideal candidate will also learn how to address common installation challenges, troubleshoot systems and delight customers with an incredible product.
This position is a great opportunity to enter into the trades and learn new skill sets with each lighting project. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble lights and mount them in prescribed locations year-round
  • Speak with the customer to ensure their needs are understood and met
  • Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Maintain proper inventory levels in service vehicles
  • Install low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
  • Mount transformers and connect wire runs
  • Clean-up of all areas affected by the installation
  • Speak with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
  • Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
  • Interact with customers with professionalism, respect and integrity
  • Above-average technical ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
  • Attention to detail and respect for our customers' properties
  • Good organizational skills with a proactive mindset
  • Strong sense of pride and integrity in work product

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Trade skills a plus
