Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage front-of-house and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will help drive sales, maintain health and safety standards, and maintain high operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all daily floor operations, opening, and closing procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and support bartenders
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving guest feedback and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Help maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and control labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Create weekly schedules and manage floor coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Process payments, handle cash drawers, and manage end-of-shift daily financial reporting.
  • Motivate staff and enforce company standards, policies, and procedures consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Lead Bartender in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Deep knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory control and POS systems.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid food handler and alcohol server certifications as required.
