About Us

LVL III Bar and Lounge is one of Calgary’s premier nightlife and entertainment venues. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations, develop our team, and help drive the continued growth of our venue.


The Role

Working closely with the owner, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of venue operations, including front-of-house, bar, kitchen, and security. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

Oversee daily floor operations, opening and closing procedures, and service flow.

Ensure smooth coordination between all departments.


Team Leadership

Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate supervisors and staff.

Build a strong team culture focused on accountability and performance.


Financial Management

Manage labour costs, inventory control, and operational expenses.

Support profitability goals and business growth.

Guest Experience

Maintain a strong presence on the floor.

Deliver excellent customer service and professionally handle guest concerns.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations, Alberta Health & Safety standards, and venue policies.

Qualifications

3+ years of senior management experience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, bar, or nightclub environment.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Experience managing operations, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance.

Ability to work 8 to 10 hour shifts 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
