Position Overview:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Auxiliaries, this position is responsible for supervising the Student Lounge and will provide project support for the supervisor. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Student Lounge and related spaces. This role involves supervising the area to ensure a welcoming and safe environment, conducting online research, performing data entry, assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations, and providing general administrative support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Student Lounge area
  • Manage Student Lounge equipment and facilities
  • Perform other related duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Great customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using internet search tools and social media platforms to gather data
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Powerpoint) Google Mail, Google Calendar and Canva
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Be a full time student at SFBU
  • Have a high school diploma
  • Completed at least one full semester at SFBU

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Job duties typically performed in an office environment. Physical demands may include lifting up to 20 lbs, bending, and sitting. The employee is occasionally required to sit or stand for long periods.
This part-time position requires 2 to 4 hours per day, 2 to 4 days a week, and may include evening or weekend hours. We are currently looking for coverage on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Salary Range: $18-$22 per hour; this position pays $20 per hour.
