Associate Wholesale Planner, the Americas


Overview: The Associate Wholesale Planner is responsible for supporting the Planning and Sales teams through comprehensive analysis and forecasting for the Wholesale Americas business. The Associate Wholesale Planner will contribute to identifying risks and opportunities in order to maximize profits with our partners. This position will provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting of the overall business.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the planning functions for all accounts and all departments for both Department Stores (4 accounts) and Specialty/Franchise Stores (34 accounts) in the Americas.
  • Create and maintain all weekly/monthly/yearly reporting and recaps, maintaining visibility on sales and inventory.
  • Proactively develop ad-hoc analytical reports and tools to meet the changing needs of the business for US Wholesale, Ecom (retail and wholesale), and Canada/Mexico Concessions.
  • Prepare key analysis for management including 3YP, Budget, R1.
  • Establish budgets and work collaboratively with the sales team to create OTS budgets by account and department and submit all budgets in Anaplan for all Wholesale accounts in the Americas.
  • During market, support sales team by attending market appointments and creating ad-hoc reporting to analyze business needs by account/department to understand assortment needs and to ensure budgets are met.
  • Track budgets for CO-OP spending with communications/press team and confirm validity with accounting and finance team once ads are invoiced.
  • Manage Skypad CL data input (updating style list seasonally, markdowns, price changes) and liaising with Skypad team for troubleshooting
  • Proactively identify any reorder opportunities and liaise with partners to fulfill and work with Demand planning and sales team to create permanent sales forecasts to anticipate need and exit strategies.
  • Track invoicing on a daily, monthly, and YTD view to ensure budget is being met. Support in reviewing inbound and outbound inventory flow and credit with sales team, logistics team, and accounting team
  • Work with finance team to complete Budget and Revised budget forecasts and presentations
  • Establish strong partnerships with internal teams by working cross-functionally: retail planning, demand planning, buying, merchandising, accounting, finance, logistics, ecomm and external teams: buying and planning teams from our accounts, as well as any other business partners that services we use (Skypad and Euromonitor)


Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite
  • Advanced Excel knowledge as well as retail math acumen
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with follow up and attention to detail
  • Adheres to company policy and confidentiality- is a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of corporate responsibility- setting the standard
  • Versatile and flexible; embraces change and is consistently able to develop and adapt to the needs of the business
