Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Parking Lot Supervisor at Reliant Park in Houston, Texas. Reliant Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement. We are a one-of-a-kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park. Reliant Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), Reliant Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), Reliant Astrodome ("The" Astrodome), and Reliant Arena. We are seeking a unique Part-Time Parking Lot Supervisor to join our Outside Operations team. Under direct supervision of the Outside Operations Managers and Outside Operations Coordinators, the Parking Lot Supervisor is responsible for parking of all events and all parking lots within the Reliant Park property on a daily event basis. Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Coordinate the event parking plan with the Outside Operations Managers, Coordinators and other Lot Supervisors.

  • Coordinates necessary staffing and traffic control for all parking lots.

  • Ensures the schedule of work coordinates with events.

  • Supervises all Parking Attendant by ensuring all comply with parking policies and procedures.

  • Enforces all parking policies and procedures.

  • Assist with setting up and tearing down of all parking lots.

  • Monitors all Parking Attendants by ensuring that all staff comply with proper uniform standards.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all policies and applicable laws.

  • Demonstrate knowledge in parking procedures, facility, industry terminology and event-related services

  • Demonstrates supervisory skills and the ability to resolve conflict and display a high level of customer service

  • Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to parking lots, typical methods and techniques for parking and proper use and care of the equipment.

  • Understand and work with general instructions.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered in the course of employment.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.

  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

  • Position is routinely required to work outdoors and is exposed to year-round weather elements (heat, rain, cold, etc.)

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

  • Technical School Certificate or Degree is a plus.

  • Must have a minimum of five years' Parking Supervisory experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

  • Not applicable.

Other Qualifications

  • Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
