Overview

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Transportation for our Surrey Truck & Trailer location.

The Territory Manager – Transportation role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods.  A successful Territory Manager (TM) will have extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used heavy-duty transportation truck and trailer equipment within their designated AOR, be aware and participate in the purchasing and rental activities of all Customers, and report back to the Company on activity/transaction details on a day to day basis.  The TM will also identify other business opportunities within the AOR that may be served by other areas of Brandt – Parts & Service, Sales of other products represented or manufactured by Brandt (ex: On Highway trucks & trailers, Agricultural equipment, etc).

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • New account creation and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers.
  • Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
  • Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
  • Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
  • Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
  • Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.
  • Deliver continuous Prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis.  Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager.

  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
