Clinical Role

Join an established Electrophysiology program in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, providing a combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, and procedural electrophysiology services. This locums opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities while practicing in a collaborative academic and hospital-based environment.

Assignment Details

September 8–11, 2026

September 17–18, 2026

September 24–25, 2026

October 1–2, 2026

October 19–30, 2026

December 28–31, 2026

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

No call required

Coverage Requirements:

Up to 40 hours per week

Coverage provided approximately once per month and as needed for vacation coverage

Practice Setting:

Academic/Training Program

Outpatient Clinic

270-bed hospital

Patient Population:

Adults ages 18–100

Patient Volume:

Outpatient clinic:

Approximately 16 patients per day

Inpatient consult service:

Approximately 10–15 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

Outpatient Electrophysiology clinic

Inpatient Electrophysiology consultations

Device implantation

Electrophysiology procedures

Patient evaluations and follow-up

Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary teams

Required Procedures:

Pacemaker implantation

Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) implantation

Subcutaneous ICD implantation

Loop recorder implantation

Loop recorder explantation

Ablation procedures including:

AVNRT

Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT)

Atrial Flutter

Support & Technology

Support Staff:

Dedicated outpatient clinical team

Assigned inpatient Advanced Practice Provider

Collaborative cardiovascular team

EMR System:

Epic

Credentialing Timeframe:

Approximately 90 days

Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean credentialing file

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology/Electrophysiology – Required

Active Pennsylvania License – Required

OR

Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification (LOQ) – Required for submission

DEA Registration – Required

ACLS Certification – Required

BLS Certification – Required

Electrophysiology procedural experience – Required

Organization & Team
