Role Purpose:
 The role of a site-specific technician at Uptown Alley is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various technical systems and equipment within the facility
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic and Financial Management
    • Collaborate with management to develop budgets for technical maintenance and repairs, as well as capital 
      expenditures for equipment upgrades or replacements. 
    • Prioritize spending to maximize the efficiency and longevity of technical assets while staying within budget 
      constraints. 
  • Operational Management
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on technical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and 
      longevity. This includes conducting inspections, lubricating moving parts, replacing worn components, and 
      cleaning equipment as necessary. 
    • Provide technical support and assistance to other staff members, including operators, supervisors, and 
      managers. Site-specific technicians may offer guidance on equipment operation, troubleshooting 
      techniques, and safety procedures. 
    • Coordinate with equipment vendors, suppliers, and service providers to obtain spare parts, components, and 
      technical support as needed. Site-specific technicians may communicate with external vendors to order 
      supplies, schedule repairs, or request specialized services. 
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory. Site-specific 
      technicians document maintenance activities, equipment specifications, safety procedures, and other 
      relevant information to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing 
    • Conduct regular safety inspections of technical equipment and installations to identify potential hazards or 
      safety risks. Site-specific technicians must ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory 
      requirements. 
  • Staff Management 
    • Provide training and guidance to technical staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and 
      knowledge to operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively. 
    • Training on safety procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance best 
      practices. 
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving technical issues promptly.
    • Assist in developing and implementing safety protocols, procedures, and training programs for staff, and guest.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Highschool or GED equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Must be able to work up to fifty hours per week.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Desirable - AA or BA in business management or relevant discipline.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3-7 years' experience with an FEC or restaurant in a managerial or leadership position. 
  • Experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Desirable - Previous experience in a senior management role at an FEC or restaurant
