Job description

State agency looking for a professional and personable front desk receptionist. This would be a long term temporary position that will run until roughly April 2027.

This is a slower paced position where there will not be a lot of busy work. There will be a lot of down time.


Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage front desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages


Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED
- Must have administrative and receptionist experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
